Ernesto Isaac Martinez (born September 8, 1988), known professionally as Fade, is an American rapper, songwriter and businessman originally from Commerce City, Colorado. Known for his hit songs “ Fancy Dancer ” and “All of You,” Fade’s passion for music began at a young age under the musical influence of his father. Fade grew up around a diverse range of musical instruments and an endless library of music, so he was destined to be involved in music one way or another.

In 2004, young Ernesto got hands-on with his music and built a recording studio in his parents’ basement using second-hand equipment. At the age of 16, he started recording under the name FADE. Between 2005 and 2006, Fade stated to network with other local artist and musicians, and he started distribution his music to his friends and classmates in high school.

In 2007, Fade was presented with an opportunity to pursue his music career with Eternity Entertainment. One of the first productions was a collaboration with fellow label-mate Tia Owens. From 2007 to 2011, Fade was dropping mix tapes and creating a local buzz for himself, all while crafting his unique sound and style.

In 2010, Fade was featured on DJ Felli Fel's Thump Ridaz Mix. The song “Fancy Dancer” was hand selected by DJ Felli Fel himself and earned national buzz, giving Fade's career a significant boost. Fade released his first full-length album, tilted “Audio Racketeering,” in 2012. He also started selling branded merchandise to help fund his growing music career.

In 2016, Fade released the single, “All of You,” which gained major buzz and landed over a half-millions views on Facebook and Youtube. Fade’s second album, which was also released with Eternity Entertainment, was tilted “ The Mile High Kingpin.”

In late 2018, Fade cut ties with Eternity Entertainment over creative differences so that he could pursue his own solo career and demonstrate all the different sides of his musical and songwriting talents.
